Cars Mural

Just in time for the holidays, I was able to complete this Cars mural for a little guy ready to move into a big boy room.

Creating little vignettes was the way to go in order to include the various characters.

Because his new bed will someday be elevated, I kept the main scene with Lightning McQueen and Mater high up on the wall yet included enough scenery to fill the wall space.

It was fun to try to capture these characters and their expressions, my favorite being Red the Firetruck.  I think he turned out pretty cute!

And adding the boy's name in smoke over the window is a great way to personalize and also add more of the red accent color with the plane.

Thanks for looking and leave a comment telling me your favorite Cars character!

Before and Afters

Here are some fun before and after photos of furniture I have painted.  I bet everyone has a dull, dated piece that could use new life!  Let me know how I can help!  You'll love the transformation!
