Baby Shower Gift

Our family is waiting the arrival of a new nephew and we celebrated with a fun baby shower last weekend. My sister-in-law is due with her first baby, a boy, in September and I painted her a unique gift that will match her nursery.

Her nursery is painted yellow and she is decorating with a theme that matches her bedding, including caterpillars, alligators, owls and bees.

I painted her a storage box that matches the colors and blanket with the critters. I filled each drawer with a baby item; socks, bibs, diaper cream, an outfit, and matching painted frame.



I love giving unique gifts and seeing the reaction of the receiver. I hope the painted box will be an item to cherish and one that the little guy can use for a long time. He can later fill it with his own treasures- rocks, baseball cards, and real caterpillars!
